when exporting a tabular "dataset"-object, it might be reasonable to export a CSV with the data and a JSON with the metadata. For this JSON metadata both the W3C effort CSVW – CSV on the Web (https://csvw.org/, https://w3c.github.io/csvw/primer/) or the fricionless data table schema (https://specs.frictionlessdata.io/table-schema/) might be suitable.
