Which software do you use for theses grapichs?

I'm producing a bunch of books for online education in Brazil, you can see those at
https://github.com/edusantana/ufpb-virtual-computacao/blob/master/livro/capitulos/livros.asc (click on 'baixar' (portuguese word for download) - i'm using asciidoc and github to produce those books.

Anyway, I was worndering, how do you draw those nice graphics like

• https://github.com/pluralsight/git-internals-pdf/blob/master/artwork/vector/Blobs.eps and
• https://github.com/pluralsight/git-internals-pdf/blob/master/artwork/vector/DAG_Model.eps ?

Which software do you use?

I have contacted Scott Chacon, and he replay:

  "I don't actually know, Geoff did those.  Perhaps you could create an issue on the repo with this questions."

The image Blobs.eps is used:

Looks like OmniGraffle.

It looks like Adobe Illustrator to me...

The file extensions in the source code are *.graffle.
The diagrams are wonderful!
