We applied a workaround in #267724 to address high GPU usage issue #267022

Currently there is PR tracking a better fix in upstream electron/electron#48376, the workaround will be removed once the change is adopted.

Electron 36.9.2 / 37.6.0 / 38.2.0 is out with the fix. Can we expect the next VSCode update to include this?

Electron was updated to 37.5.1 yesterday in 48a6c94 but the fix is in 37.6.0.
