In application.properties the value of the variable
${DOCKER_HOST_IP:localhost}
is supposed to be "localhost" in case DOCKER_HOST_IP is unset, but it doesn't work.
FIX
The correct syntax to do that is
${DOCKER_HOST_IP:-localhost}
with a "-" before localhost
