ILI9341 without touch, with external switches, but cant exit sub menu.

Hi All,
My cheap TFT ILI9341 doesn't have touch screen. I managed to compile from source & enabled U+D+L+R+C switches. Everything seems to be working fine, except when I enter a particular function, I can not exit as it says "Touch screen to Exit". None of the 5 keys, help to exit. Please find attached photo for better understanding.
Hope someone will have time to guide.
