C Engineering Compiler Adaptation

As the title suggests, I am currently using the tasking compiler to compile C code, but CodeQL does not support the tasking compiler. What should I do if I want to adapt? Is there any problem?

Are its arguments compatible with a well-known C compiler, such as MSVC, GCC or Clang, or can they easily be converted to equivalent arguments? If they are, you could use a compiler wrapper -- for example, if your unrecognised compiler is tcc then you could interpose a shell-script tcc which (a) calls the real compiler with the needed arguments and (b) makes a dummy call to a no-op script named cl.exe or gcc or clang such that CodeQL observes the call and creates its database accordingly.

The current compiler being used is Tasking, corresponding to the TriCore architecture. Can the above steps be followed for this setup?

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that compiler. What do compiler commands look like? Do the authors say whether it is intended to be argument-compatible with other major compilers?
