Description

Description

The instructions for non developers to install into Windows is quite poor.

Steps to Reproduce

Get a person who is not familiar with the project to try and set it up under Windows

Give them the following guidelines --- STOP the install and report back if any of the following occur.

  • you have to guess about any part of the process
  • you had to repeat steps to try another way
  • you have to google something
  • you have questions before you can proceed

Additional Information

A lifetime in IT and an identity specialist so I know my way around systems. The documentation framework is great, the mkdocs system is excellent. There is no flow in the documentation for installation. There are a ton of assumptions which comes from the forest for the trees paradigm.
