I have a few projects that use font-awesome 3.2.1. I updated them to font-awesome 4.3.0 and got this error on Chrome's Version 51.0.2704.79 (64-bit) console: OTS parsing error: invalid version tag. Then I went through the lib and I noticed that the url('../fonts/FontAwesome.otf?v=4.3.0') format('opentype') is missing in @font-face { font-family: 'FontAwesome'; definition in font-awesome.min.css. I added this line and now works fine.

the .otf file is used for debugging purposes and development by Dave and it is not supposed to be included in the production release.

It is using 4.3.0 from the CDN and the console is clear here (Win10 x64 / Chrome 51.0.2704.84 m 64)
