1.26.13 - New socket design very hard to read

At a glance its basically imossible to tell which sockets are optional or mandatory now with this new socket theme

Recent updates to the socket design in ComfyUI Frontend (including v1.26.13) changed how optional and mandatory sockets are visually represented. Optional sockets are now shown as hollow circles, while mandatory ones use a different shape. However, these changes may not be visually distinct enough in the current theme, making it hard to tell them apart at a glance. This is a known result of recent refactors to the socket rendering and UI components, such as the introduction of the SlotConnectionDot and related updates to InputSlot.vue and theme logic [PR #5316] [PR #3550].

There are no existing tickets or documentation addressing this specific readability issue, and no known settings or workarounds to improve the distinction. The codebase relies on theme colors and shapes, so if the contrast is insufficient, it can impact usability.

As for the crashes, there is no direct evidence that the socket design changes are causing frontend crashes, but instability could result from errors in socket rendering or node metadata parsing. If you have any console errors or logs, sharing them could help pinpoint the cause [PR #5628].

This is not a new Comfy UI socked design.
A new socket design / look will presumably only happen for the new VUE nodes.

What's shown in the image is an artifact (bug), created by the "cg-use-everywhere" custom nodes.
If you use --disable-all-custom-nodes, or disable "cg-use-everywhere" in the Manager, the normal socket will show up.
