Any issue when upgrading to NodeJS version 16?

I'm currently running the latest Nightwatch on NodeJS version 14. Are there any issues after upgrading to version 16 of NodeJS?

I attended a webinar this morning and they talked about WebdriverIO and the issues they were having when they upgraded to NodeJS version 16. Specifically, it affected synchronous calls and they were forced to move to async/await in order to deal with it. I don't know the details but it raised a flag in my mind that maybe Nightwatch would somehow be affected by this.

No, I'm happy to report that we're not affected by this issue because we've never used synchronous calls. Since v1.7, Nightwatch also supports chaining when writing async/await commands and has always worked well without promises too, if that's preferred. Personally, I always thought that synchronous calls are a disastrous idea and my advice is to always try to avoid using them in Node.
